A Mode 3 AC wallbox - also called a Level 2 charger - is the standard home and commercial charging solution in Europe and the Middle East. Connected to a 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase supply, it delivers 7 kW to 22 kW, typically adding 30-120 km of driving range per charging hour, and is up to ten times faster than charging from a household socket.

The Mode 3 charging cable is the connecting link between the charging station and the electric vehicle — the most common AC charging method, with integrated safety and communication. Type 2 male plug to the charger outlet, Type 2 female plug to the vehicle inlet (IEC 62196-2), available straight or coiled in 3.6 kW to 22 kW ratings. Silver-plated contacts, a CP pre-charging handshake, IP55/IP65 protection and a mating life of 10,000+ cycles make it a mainstream SKU for the European market — backed by CE, UKCA, TÜV and RoHS certification and a 24-month warranty
