Sell adapters in markets where many different EV connector types are on the road — Type 2, GB/T, Type 1 and Tesla. When a market has many connector standards, DC charging becomes confusing and inconvenient for drivers.

From this point of view, every EV owner benefits from carrying an AC or DC adapter so they are never caught without a way to charge. Adapters are high-margin, light to ship, and easy to explain: they solve one specific, painful problem.

3. V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) — One Adapter, Many Brands

V2L covers all GB/T EVs and more than 10 additional EV brands. Different vehicles require a different dial position for their resistor value, so a single V2L adapter with a multi-position dial replaces a whole shelf of brand-specific products.

4. Wallbox EV Chargers — Where Design and Smart Features Win

Wallboxes play an important role in the EV charging business, and there are two clear customer profiles:

l A driver with a parking spot against a wall who wants a space-saving, aesthetically pleasing unit

l A homeowner with a solar setup who wants to integrate their vehicle with home energy management

If you are simply looking for the best value for money, there are cheaper options from other brands on the market. When it comes to smart features and overall design, however, a well-designed wallbox stands out. Through the companion app, customers can access all the charging data they want to see.

5. AC & DC Commercial Chargers with OCPP — Only If You Have the Resources

For AC and DC commercial EV chargers with OCPP, we offer a straightforward warning. If you do not have enough government contracts or private-sector resources, we do not advise you to enter the DC charger business.

Project lead times are long, and as more chargers go into operation, after-sales service grows — and it is expensive. In most cases we recommend a localised service partner. If your priority is saving money, making money and achieving fast turnover, start with the product families above instead.
