What is V2L?

V2L stands for "Vehicle-to-Load" (an external power discharge function). It effectively turns a new energy electric vehicle into a large, mobile power bank; using an onboard inverter, it converts the direct current (DC) from the vehicle's battery into standard 220V alternating current (AC) to directly power external electrical appliances.

How to use V2L adapter

EVSEClub V2L adapters typically provide a voltage of 220V (±10%) and a current of up to 10A, 13A, 15A, or 16A. It's compatible with almost all your home appliances.

When used in conjunction with our portable EV charger, the setup works as follows: discharging vehicle A → EVSEClub V2L adapter → EVSEClub portable EV charger → charging vehicle B.

Many V2L adapters on the market only support the vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge function for a single electric vehicle model. EVSEClub pioneered the development of a V2L adapter compatible with over ten brands and dozens of vehicle models.Previously, many dealers needed to prepare a dozen or even more SKUs for different electric vehicle models.
