When you buy an EV or PHEV, the dealer normally includes a basic Mode 2 charging cable for emergency use — typically a Type 2 to 3-pin UK cable, or a Type 2 to Schuko cable, with a control box in the middle. It works, but it shows nothing: there is no LCD screen, so while the car is charging you can only assume it is charging. Data such as the current, voltage and energy consumption stays invisible.
Traveling makes it worse. On the road you will often not find a Schuko or 13 A socket — only the blue 32 A or 16 A CEE sockets that are common at campsites, marinas and worksites. With a fixed plug, your portable EVSE simply cannot connect to the socket in front of you, and the car cannot be charged.
Based on market research with our customers across the UK, Europe, Australia and Brazil, we built our Mode 2 portable EVSE (13 A and 16 A) around one idea: changeable power plugs. Swap the wall plug to match the socket — 13 A UK, 16 A Schuko, 16 A UK, 16 A CEE and 32 A CEE plugs are all available for everyday and emergency

Optional wall-end plugs — Schuko, AU, UK, NEMA 6-20, NEMA 5-15, NEMA 14-50 and CEE

The mobile ev charger ,The charging current is always limited automatically to the safe level of the connected plug (6–32 A, see Section 4.2), so a stronger socket never pushes more power than the plug can handle.
Temperature sensors for the power plugs are an optional upgrade. You can see the plug temperature at any time on the screen or in the app. Our intelligent temperature-control system detects plug aging or poor contact and lowers the current automatically to protect your property.
On the car side, the same solution is available with Type 2, Type 1, GB/T and NACS connectors — a mature design that covers nearly every EV on the road.
Electric vehicles keep getting smarter — so have we. With the optional app, customers can check all the charging data they need, schedule when to charge and when to stop, and control the charger remotely.

Smart features turn a basic charging cable into an intelligent charging companion. Three capabilities stand out: a clear LCD display, automatic current recognition, and convenient on-unit control.
The EV charger with LCD screen shows real-time voltage, current, power, energy, temperature and charging time at a glance — no more guessing whether the car is actually charging

The charger reads which plug is connected and adjusts the current settings automatically — enabling faster charging when the socket allows it.
Table 2 — Available current settings per connected plug
· Delay charging: each press adds 1 hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours.
· Current adjustment: cycle through the current levels permitted for the connected plug (6–8–10–13 A for a 13 A plug, 6–8–10–13–16 A for 16 A, 10–16–20–24–32 A for 32 A).
Safety is the highest level of priority for Mode 2 charging. Every unit combines multiple layers of electrical and mechanical protection:
The special "self-clean" design removes impurities from the pin surfaces during every plug-in process, effectively reducing the generation of electric sparks. Residual current protection better meets EU requirements and raises safety to the highest level for Mode 2 charging.
The equipped smart chip automatically repairs common charging errors and restarts the power after voltage fluctuations, protecting the device from an unexpected stop of charging.
The rugged shell resists being rolled over and hit by a car. IP67 sealing ensures perfect work outdoors in any environment — including rain and snow.
Real-time monitoring detects the temperature of both the car-end and the wall-end plugs, so an aging or poorly contacted plug is caught before it becomes a hazard.
Over-temperature protection: once a temperature above 80 °C is detected, the current is cut off immediately. When the temperature returns below 50 °C, charging resumes automatically.
Accurate monitoring of PWM signal changes and effective repair of capacitor units help maintain battery life.
